I build communities the way I build software.

I run the IT Club the way I'd run a product: with a roadmap. Workshops, Build Nights, hackathons, and mentorship programs, planned as an annual arc that has equipped 100+ students with technical and industry skills.

The part I'm proudest of isn't the events; it's the pipeline. I forged partnerships with industry professionals and alumni for speaker sessions on career growth, resume building, and interviews, and built beginner-friendly tracks so first-semester students have a real way in.

I managed end-to-end participant operations for a 250+ attendee AI hackathon: onboarding, team assignments, Discord coordination, and post-event certification.

Operationally, that meant supervising communication across HR, IT, and Core teams, maintaining shared trackers, and delivering weekly reports to event leadership, the unglamorous systems that make a large event feel effortless from the inside.

Three weeks of planning and logistics for a 100+ participant build event run by the Re-Defined community with Stan and Replit. On event day I led three teams through a two-hour Replit build challenge, ideation, concept refinement, and prototype delivery under a hard clock.

I help run technical workshops and event logistics, registration, venue setup, attendee flow, for the Waterloo developer ecosystem's Google Developer Group.

Through outreach programs and Snack-and-Chat sessions I engaged 300+ students and helped organize 10+ campus initiatives, growing volunteer involvement by 30% and event participation by 25%, with a 95% student satisfaction rate on delivered support.

A structured four-month mentorship guiding an incoming international student through cultural adjustment, networking, and job readiness. We rebuilt their resume and LinkedIn presence together, and they secured employment. One person, fully helped, beats a hundred vaguely advised.
